Peter has been ASPA's Executive Officer since 1995. Prior to that, he was President of the Victorian Association of State Secondary Principals. His last school was Stawell Secondary College, which was the outcome of the merging of two formerly competing schools - Stawell High and Stawell Technical Schools. Since formal retirement, in addition to his commitment to ASPA, he has been Chair of the Board of his local hospital for three years and continues as a member of the Board. In addition, he has been appointed a non-practitioner member of the Dental Practice Board of Victoria, and more recently to the Dental Board of Australia. He is also both a Justice of the Peace and a Bail Justice for Victoria.

Peter was awarded Life Membership  of ASPA for his services to secondary education in Australia in 1997 at the ASPA Conference.

John is a retired Principal. He was Secretary/Treasurer of ASPA from 1995 - 2006. He started and operated the ASPA website  from 1997 to 2006 - and still manages it.

He was awarded a Life Membership of ASPA in 2006 at the national conference.
